He passed his City and Guilds Examinations parts 1 and 2 (Stringed keyboard Instrument repair and Pianoforte Tuning and Toning) by age 17. Over the years, he has worked in numerous Schools, Colleges, Universities, Concert Venues, Hotels, Music Festivals, and thousands of Homes, restoring countless Pianos (Mainly Grands) with complete re-stringing, re-felting of Actions, and Key restorations.
