Joe Ellis Piano Tuning and Repair

Piano Tuner and Technician with over 12 years experience, initially trained at Newark College and worked for several companies before joining Steinway & Sons in 2015. Completed their in-house training and worked for several years as a piano tuner in London, preparing pianos for recordings and performances in venues such as Abbey Road, the BBC, the LSO and the Royal Albert Hall. In 2020 moved to the Steinway Hall Restoration Centre and oversaw the restoration of several vintage Steinway pianos. Now runs his own piano tuning and repair business based in Derby, happy to travel across Derbyshire, Nottingham, the West Midlands, Sheffield and the Peak District. For multiple pianos or servicing work happy to travel further afield.
