Michael has been tuning and maintaining pianos for over 30 years. He has a vast knowledge and experience of all stringed keyboard instruments, ranging from classical concert tunings to making playable old pianos that have been neglected. He served an apprenticeship with Nigel Donovan, an award winning tuner / technician based in Northampton in the mid 1980’s. After qualifying he continued to run the business and workshop, with the addition of a large schools contract with the county’s schools. Due to family reasons Michael moved to Yeovil, establishing his own tuning business, working full time in the area in 1990.
