Started career as radio technician in Louth, Lincolnshire, retrained in piano tuning after company bankruptcy. Attended Newark Technical College (1984-1987) with Diploma and City and Guilds Parts One and Two. Self-employed before working for Wilson Peck (Sheffield) and Forsyths (Manchester). Moved to Lincolnshire in 1990, bought tuning round from Pooles Music in 1992. 1500+ clients. Also organist, freelance in local area.
