Since learning piano as a child, I was fascinated by the complexity of the instrument and the craft of piano tuning. After completing an HND in Stringed Keyboard Instrument Technology and working for Lothian Regional Council’s Piano Workshop, I became a Full PTA Member. I later joined the Police Service but returned to piano tuning in 2024 after retiring, rejoining the Pianoforte Tuners Association as member #1585.
