Ed Tomlinson began his career in piano service over 30 years ago at Cascade Piano in Portland OR. He has worked with pianos since 1986 and apprenticed under Steinway technician Bill Garlick. A graduate of Yamaha's Little Red Schoolhouse, he has trained extensively in piano technology and restoration, including work in Japan and Africa. He is an official tuner for the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra and has restored 52 pianos in Namibia and South Africa for missionaries.
