Tim Michaels is a Piano Technician servicing the Los Angeles area. At 14, he became frustrated with his out-of-tune piano and began a lifelong interest in piano technology through apprenticeships and Piano Technicians Guild membership. He earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in music and works in recording studios, concert venues, and churches. He is the preferred technician at Westlake Studios, Sunset Sound, and other top studios, with over 150 professional recording sessions annually.
