Brantigan Piano Tuning and Maintenance

Tom Brantigan is a piano technician with a deep reverence for craftsmanship and tradition. He learned to tune pianos while studying organ performance at Northwestern University in the late 60’s, emphasizing pure unisons and precise intervals. Over decades, he has adapted to modern tools while maintaining the art of ear-based tuning. Based in Folsom, CA, he specializes in caring for pianos of all ages, from new Steinways to 100-year-old heirlooms, and owns a 1916 Steinway O and a 1973 Mason Hamlin Type 1.
