Ris Piano

Christopher Ris is a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) and Steinway Specialist with over 50 years of experience. Son of a Swiss biologist and pediatrician, he combines meticulous methodology and exceptional customer care. A lifelong musician, he studied flamenco guitar, African drumming, and North Indian classical music before transitioning to piano tuning. After apprenticeship with Leonard Jared, he opened Ris Piano in 1981, specializing in Steinway and Yamaha service, restoration, and concert grand preparation.
