Jim Fariss, RPT, ARPT, is a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild and Australian Registered Piano Technician. He began his journey with an electronic keyboard, later transitioning to a rebuilt Yamaha baby grand, which deepened his passion for pianos. With a background as a retired Aerospace Engineer, he studied piano tuning and repair globally, including internships in England and Germany. He specializes in restoring historic pianos and integrating humidity control systems to preserve instrument integrity.
