Ralph Joseph Onesti, RPT, is a master piano technician with over six decades of experience in piano restoration, engineering, and music education. He began his career in 1962 under his uncle's guidance, later apprenticing with John L. Scheer. He earned degrees in engineering and music education, became a Registered Piano Technician (RPT), and developed innovative rebuilding tools. His work spans grand piano rebuilding, concert preparation, and teaching piano technology at the university level. Recognized nationally and internationally, he sets standards for piano restoration and service.
