Tim Patterson is a piano technician, composer, pianist, and double bassist from Lawrence, Kansas. He has been servicing pianos since 2017 and teaching privately for the past 12 years. After studying piano technology with Rick Butler and music composition at the University of Kansas and Michigan State University, Tim focused on tuning pianos and teaching. His passion lies in improving pianos and helping others enjoy their instruments to their fullest potential. When not working, he collaborates with musicians in mid-Michigan as a co-founder of ConTempus and member of local ensembles.
