About

Wessell, Nickel & Gross began in 1874 as a piano action manufacturing company founded by Otto Wessell, Adam Nickel, and Rudolph Gross. Known for innovation and quality, the company became world-renowned for its piano actions and tools. After facing challenges during the Great Depression, it was absorbed into Aeolian Piano Corporation. The name was dormant until 2005 when Kirk and Gary Burgett revived it, focusing on modern materials and piano technician tools.
