Bill Heiser has been tuning and repairing pianos since 1978. He studied with The Aubrey Willis School of Piano Tuning and Repair in 1977, then continued his education with craftsman Merrill Jackson in Philadelphia. He worked as an apprentice and was self-employed until 1983, after which he served as senior piano technician for a Bethlehem, PA piano store until 1990. He has since been self-employed, continuing his education through the Piano Technicians Guild and attending the Yamaha Little Red School House Course.
