Eric Harmsen

I have been tuning, rebuilding, and repairing pianos in Utah for 16 years. I am a graduate of North Bennet Street School in Boston, Massachusetts. I earned my Diploma in Advanced Piano Technology in 1999. I am also a graduate of the University of Utah, earning my Bachelors of Music Degree in Music Composition in 2008. I have the musical and technical skills and background to ensure that your piano will play and sound its very best. I started my own Piano Tuning business in 2001, called Eric Harmsen, Piano Craftsman, LLC, specializing in in-home piano servicing, tuning, and repairs, as well as work done on a concert level. I have tuned at the Sundance Resort, at Kingsbury Hall at the University of Utah, and other concert venues. I have always tuned aurally, and believe that that is the best way to properly tune a piano, without the use of outside digital piano tuning aid.
