Took a correspondent course in Piano Tuning and Repair, apprenticed with Paul Thomas, and served 4 years in the USMC. After discharge, pursued piano work in Fredericksburg, VA, joined the Piano Technician's Guild (PTG), and earned RPT certification. Worked with dealerships like Jordan Kitts Music and Creative Music, mentored by Doug Henderson and Jim DeRoacher. Active member of the Richmond Piano chapter.
