David Trasoff

David has been a professional piano technician since 1976, operating in Marin County and the San Francisco Area, Boulder, Colorado, and, from 2005 to 2018, in the greater Los Angeles area. He now resides in the Bellingham area. David apprenticed to master piano technician Leonard Jared of the J.B. Company, San Francisco and San Rafael. His training included work on Steinway, Mason & Hamlin, Grotrian and Scheidmayer pianos. David has been a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild since 1985. He completed initial certification through the Yamaha 'Little Red Schoolhouse' program in 1982. He was recently invited to participate in the Yamaha advanced Performance Piano Service Seminar.
