Phil Glenn, RPT

Phil Glenn is a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technician's Guild and has been servicing pianos since 1974. He served his apprenticeship with Mr. Mark Wisner, the Service Manager at Kawai America, and studied under Japan's top Artisan Concert Technicians during his 6 years at Yamaha Corporation in Buena Park, CA. He was also one of the first Americans to attend the Yamaha Technical Academy in Hammamatsu, Japan. Phil became the National Service Manager at Young Chang America in 1995 and mentored with Mr. Joseph Pramberger, former VP of Manufacturing at Steinway & Son's. He assisted in developing the Pramberger piano line and provided technical service at corporate levels for brands such as Bechstein, Chickering, Knabe, Kohler & Campbell, Sohmer, Samick, and Weber. Phil is also a practiced instructor who has presented over 300 classes and seminars to piano technicians, teachers, dealers, and consumers.
