Born and raised in Monroe, Wisconsin, I started playing piano at a young age. In 2001, I bought an old upright piano in Eugene, Oregon, which sparked my passion for piano tuning. I apprenticed with RPT Rick Carter for 3 years, passed the RPT exams, and moved to Madison in 2008. I spent 16 years at Farley’s House of Pianos, learning piano rebuilding under master technician Timothy Farley RPT.
